Fourth of July 2009

You're invited to spend July 4th with us! We're going to have beer butt chickens and Boston butts, all on the smoker, and baked beans. If you've been before, you know the routine. Pack a cooler for your family. Bring a side dish if you'd like. We'll be there by two o'clock and plan on eating by five.

First time here? This is NOT Churchill Downs so do not drive your showroom Corvette to the branch...the road is bumpy. If you'd like, you can park at the top of the hill and call and we'll send a kid on a four-wheeler to pick you up.

Bring multiple changes of old clothes for your kids. Water shoes. Towels. Sunscreen and bug spray. Folding chairs. This is Kid Heaven...lots of water and Croc-eating mud ponds and crawdads and lizards and the waterfall; all of which makes for lots of messy fun!

Directions: Going east on Hwy 72, take the first right past Brooks High School onto Belview Road/CR 31. Take your first right onto CR 171. Go straight and when the road curves sharply to the left...you keep going straight into the driveway. There will be a sign..."The Branch." Go straight through the gate and down the dirt road. Slowly.
